You can't tell me they aren't making enough in the casino that they can't have free wifi! (The other amenities I don't use anyway.) All in all, this experience was the worst I've had there in the many years we've been going to Winstar and it may be the last. This is the only hotel in the area that charges a "resort fee" for things that used to be free. Furthermore, it took two trips by maintenance to rectify the situation. All these things are due to negligence on the part of whoever last cleaned the room. We had a remote that didn't work, a bedside lamp with a burned-out bulb and HAIR on the floor of the shower. Now, however, there is a real problem with housekeeping. (There are a lot of "used to's" in this review and that is the correct terminology). Now, as for the hotel, it used to be excellent. There is a new poker room and bingo hall, neither of which I use, but I loved those video poker machines and their location, in spite of the fact that it is a LOOOONG hike from the hotel. ![]() On this visit, they had removed those machines (to WHERE, I could not determine). The casino is very smoky and I always chose to play the machines just outside the poker room since that area was non-smoking. This used to be our favorite Oklahoma casino and I USED TO win there.
